Art in Public Space & Sustainability Award

The Art in Public Space & Sustainability Award is a project promoted by dstgroup and ZET, with the support of IB-S — Institute of Science and Innovation for Bio-Sustainability of the University of Minho.

The project challenges artists to create works of art for public spaces, using industrial waste and/or waste from building construction and demolition, in an initiative to support contemporary artistic creation and production in the field of plastic and visual arts, combined with the concepts of sustainability and circular economy.

In 2026, the 4th edition of the Award will take place, which foresees the implementation of a work of art in the public space of Figueira da Foz.
