TOMAS CASTAÑO

Espanha, 1953

Tomas Castaño nasceu em Santander, Espanha, em 1953. Artista autodidata, segue um estilo realista. Já participou em inúmeras exposições coletivas e individuais passando por vários países como Espanha, Portugal, Alemanha, Holanda, Índia, Estados Unidos, Irlanda, Roménia, França, Taiwan, México, Argentina, Japão, entre outros. Foi destacado em diversos prémios como "Award Gallery" no Art Revolution Taipei e Best In Show In Red na Gallery Ring. A sua obra representa essencialmente um realismo sereno e poético, onde o artista pinta ruas de bairros antigos, edifícios e fachadas tradicionais. As suas pinturas transmitem uma humanização de ambientes não processados pela vida moderna.
